Education and background

Mr. Lounaskorpi (born 1958) has excellent vision of implementation of 21^st century skills and competences in education. His social skills and competences are excellent. He has been responsible in orchestrating, innovating, designing and implementing web-based learning since 1990.

After graduating as a teacher 1985, he worked as class teacher in the 1990s, developing the Finnish curriculum, creating and piloting pedagogical models for the use of ICT and new pedagogical methods in teaching and also in-service training for teachers. From 2000, he worked as a developer and supporter of e-learning at the University of Jyväskylä until 2008. Since 2008, he has trained and built e-learning systems, developed curricula and pedagogy for 21st century skills education, and trained teachers in more than 20 countries around the world.

Mr Lounaskorpi has trained, developed and implemented The Implementation strategy and action plan of ICT and 21^st century skills in education for 40 communities and city in Finland.

As trained teacher, M.Ed and Ph.D. student, Mr Lounaskorpi has worked a number of years in different distance education projects in different capacities. He has been designing distance education systems and training teachers at many schools, universities and companies (e.g. Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, England, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, China, Russia, India, Georgia Romania, Phillipines, Kasakshtan, Uzbekistan and Hungary) as well as training international organizations (UNESCO, EU) and also writing tutoring and student support guides.

His research is focusing on the curriculum development and implementation processes of ICT in education and the new pedagogical methods, Teacher’s in-service training, AI, robotics and AR/VR.

Mr Lounaskorpi has been training and in-service training ICT users (specially teachers) since 1990. He has excellent skills to support and teach the usage of ICT.

In the year 2022- 2024 Mr Lounaskorpi has worked in Uzbekistan and Kasakshtan training teachers and headmaster and developing the new curriculum implementation methods in Navoy, Taskent, Astana and Kaskadarya.

Petri is personally well connected with Finnish education companies.

Mr Lounaskorpi is the founder and CEO of the Didactec Ltd.
